# Your first canon: from source text to a result

Start with one small rule and one specific question.

1. Find the source and identify its edition.
2. Write down the conditions, exceptions, and result.
3. Pick a case that meets the conditions and a case at the boundary.
4. Run an available example from the [quickstart](https://docs.arxo.io/guide/quickstart/).
5. Compare the facts, answer, and grounds. Do not fill missing facts with guesses.

Share your first result here. Include the canon version, input, and anything that is still unclear. Having a source passage does not by itself establish that its formalization is complete.
